SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Giants starter Tim Lincecum and Cincinnati reliever Aroldis Chapman both struggled Saturday as San Francisco beat the Reds 9-6.

Lincecum, set to start on opening day at Dodger Stadium, gave up six runs and 11 hits in five innings.

The hard-throwing Chapman faced five batters and didn’t get any of them out. He allowed four hits and five runs.

Andres Torres had three hits and drove in four runs. The Giants roughed up Chapman and scored six times in the sixth inning.

Fred Lewis and Juan Francisco homered for the Reds.

Miguel Tejada and Freddy Sanchez had two hits each for the Giants. Sanchez left in the fifth inning after taking a knee to the helmet when sliding into second base.
