PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Flyers goalie Brian Boucher left Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against Boston because of an injury.

Boucher grabbed his left side and crouched in pain midway through the second period of Monday night’s game. He left with the score tied 2-all.

It was the fifth time in nine playoff games the Flyers made a goalie switch.

The Bruins lost defenseman Adam McQuaid in the first period after he crashed headfirst into the boards. McQuaid tried to throw an elbow at Mike Richards, but the Flyers captain sidestepped him, and McQuaid went down in a heap. He was on the ice for several minutes and needed help back to the locker room.
