PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Multnomah County sheriff’s office says a body found early Tuesday in the Columbia River near the Interstate 5 bridge in Portland is that of a man missing since Dec. 17.

The body was identified as 68-year-old Lyle Lunceford of suburban Gresham. The Oregonian says his unoccupied boat was found motoring in the river channel between north Portland and Hayden Island last December with no one aboard.
