MILWAUKEE (AP) — Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker will be presented with the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association’s Hall of Fame award before Milwaukee’s game at Atlanta.

Uecker, nicknamed “Mr. Baseball,” will receive a Hall of Fame plaque Tuesday during a short ceremony in the radio booth.

He will be inducted into the NSSA Hall of Fame along with announcer Brent Musburger and sportswriter Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe.

Uecker is in his 41st year as a broadcaster for the Brewers. He’ll miss the induction on May 16 because he will be traveling with the team to Los Angeles.

The 76-year-old Uecker had his second heart surgery in October.
