130 C-17 airmen returning to JBLM

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) — Joint Base Lewis-McChord says more than 130 airmen are returning Thursday after a four-month deployment flying and operating C-17 cargo planes in support of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron moved nearly 34,000 passengers and delivered more than 81 million pounds of cargo.
