MONTREAL (AP) — The World Anti-Doping Agency has suspended the drug-testing laboratory in Tunisia for failing to meet international standards.

WADA says the accredited lab in Tunis will be banned from carrying out doping tests for six months.

The lab can appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport within 21 days.

WADA did not specify what the lab did to prompt the suspension. The agency says it will re-evaluate the lab’s status after six months.

Tunis was one of 35 labs around the world accredited by WADA.
