EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Police arrested a man early Monday in Everett who had shot at an officer.
Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover told KIRO TV no one was hurt, but it could have turned out a lot worse.
It began with a traffic stop before midnight where the driver showed a gun. The officer fired. The driver sped away. He was chased to another location where he exchanged gunfire with police and ran off. A police dog tracked him to an apartment where he was arrested.
Police have recovered a gun they believed was used in the shooting.
