Battle Ground — Rocksolid Community Teen Center received a $5,000 grant courtesy of the Safeway Foundation. The funding for the grant comes from Safeway employee contributions. The grant is designed to help local nonprofits.

The money will be used to purchase healthy snacks for the students who attend the teen center and to purchase physical fitness equipment for the center in an effort to help students become healthier.
