WSU Vancouver staff honored for work

Salmon Creek — Three Washington State University Vancouver faculty members won awards from the WSU College of Education at an awards meeting May 3.

Tamara Nelson won an award for collaboration and networking. Assistant Professor Kristin Huggins, Associate Professor Stephen Kucer, and Assistant Professor Paul Pitre won Faculty Funding Awards, which are grants up to $5,000 for a faculty member or $9,000 for a faculty team.

The awards are used to develop research programs and generate journal publications or proposals for external funding.
