STOCKHOLM (AP) — Swedish taekwondo champion Mohammed Qatanani has been suspended two years for doping and will miss the 2012 Olympics.
Swedish doping commission chairman Thore Brolin said Wednesday that the 22-year-old national champion tested positive for methylhexaneamine, a stimulant that is banned during competition.
Swedish Olympic Committee spokesman Bjorn Folin says Qatanani was taken out of its talent program in January after test results came back positive.
