PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers’ game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday night has been postponed after a lengthy rain delay.
No makeup date was immediately announced. The Dodgers are not scheduled to play in Pittsburgh again during the regular season.
The game started on time and the Dodgers had a 1-0 lead when play was halted at the top of the third inning. The game was called when the delay stretched to nearly 212 hours.
The rainout was the 27th this season, surpassing the total from all of last season.
