MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Lynx have waived veteran forward Hamchetou Maiga-Ba (HAHM’-shah-too MY’-gah-bah).

Maiga-Ba appeared in all 34 games for the Lynx last season. She averaged 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in her one season with Minnesota.

The nine-year veteran originally was drafted by Sacramento in the 2002 WNBA Draft. She played a total of six years with the Monarchs, sandwiched around two seasons with the Houston Comets, before the Lynx signed her last year.

Minnesota’s roster stands at 14 players.
