CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — A person familiar with the decision tells The Associated Press that former Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier has decided not to enroll at Miami.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because Forcier has not publicly revealed the decision. A message left for Forcier’s father by the AP was not immediately returned Friday.
Forcier signed an aid agreement with the Hurricanes in February, not long after he was ruled academically ineligible to play for the Wolverines in their Gator Bowl appearance at the end of last season.
ESPN.com first reported Forcier’s decision, citing an unnamed person saying “personal reasons” led to the change of plans.
