Homeless people need our support. Recently I have seen several homeless people on the street. The homeless have issues and concerns that the average American would never have to deal with, and we need to volunteer our time and money to help these people in need.
One of the main issues homeless people have to deal with is the obvious lack of nutrition. Getting enough meals a day is tough, and getting all of the essential vitamins and nutrients is almost impossible.
This lack of nutrition can then lead to both physical and mental health problems. Although this issue may not seem immediately relevant to some people, according to the Council for the Homeless website, about 54 percent of all the homeless in Clark County are families with children. By providing time or funding to the proper places, we can make a positive difference in someone’s life.
