Regarding the May 12 Columbian story, “Burglaries rise on east side of city,” on the uptick of crime in “east” Vancouver, exactly what would you consider the addresses within the city limits between I-205 and 164th Avenue? The area the story specifies as, “Andresen Road on the west to Interstate 205 on the east,” seems more central Vancouver if you consider all the area within the downtown being considered the far west.

Another thing that usually annoys those of us new to the area is the media calling areas their local names and never explaining where that area is located. Like the TV broadcasts calling a highway the Banfield? Where does that come from and what is it? I think it is Interstate 84 but I am not always completely sure.
