You might have had a little trouble accessing county services this morning.

At approximately 9 a.m., Clark County’s web server crashed, making many of its departments’ sites unavailable and delaying many emails. The server has since come back online.

“It started with an excessive number of emails coming in,” said Mary Keltz, a spokeswoman for the county.

Keltz added that some people may have to resend any emails to the county from this morning.

When asked whether the problem was a virus, Keltz said the county isn’t ruling anything out.
