NEW YORK (AP) — Mets center fielder Angel Pagan has homered in his first minor league rehab game for Class-A St. Lucie.

Pagan, on the disabled list since April 22 with a strained muscle on his left side, played seven innings in center Wednesday night against Tampa. He went 1 for 3 with a walk.

New York manager Terry Collins says Pagan needs to play four consecutive rehab games before being activated.

Collins said first baseman Ike Davis (left ankle) might not be ready to return from the DL as soon as he’s eligible on May 26.

Also, reliever Bobby Parnell threw a scoreless inning for Triple-A Buffalo against Indianapolis. He allowed two hits and struck out one. He is on the DL with a circulatory problem in the middle finger on his pitching hand.
