Letter: Election can’t come soon enough

Wonder why gasoline prices are skyrocketing? It’s because the liberal left wants it that way. When President Obama took office in January 2009, the national average price of gas was $1.83 a gallon. Now it is predicted to go as high as $4 per gallon and going higher. Understanding this gives us an insight into Obama’s game plan for the fossil-fuel-hating, combustible-fuel-engine-despising, environmentally obsessed left.

The U.S. has a super abundance of proven oil and gas reserves, but the Obama administration resists tapping into this valuable and ready resource, thus putting us at the mercy of our adversaries in the Middle East and the despicable President Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

So what is the solution to the problem?

Did I mention there is an election in 2012? Put it on your calendar. If you can’t afford the gas to get you to the voting booth, it will be well worth the walk.
