A three-vehicle collision Thursday morning on westbound state Highway 14 near Southeast 164th Avenue clogged traffic merging onto Interstate 205.

Thomas Wise, 16, of Camas was driving a Chevrolet Suburban in the left lane shortly after 7 a.m. when he slowed because of traffic and was struck from behind by a woman in a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was then hit by a man on a Kawasaki motorcycle, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Jennifer Taylor, 36, of Camas and Wise were not injured.

Brian E. Smith, 33, of Kelso suffered a broken leg when he was unable to stop his motorcycle and slammed into the rear of the Trailblazer.

Wise was able to drive his vehicle from the wreck. It sustained $1,000 damage.

The wreck caused $8,000 damage to the 2006 Trailblazer. The Kawasaki motorcycle, which also incurred $1,000 damage, and the Trailblazer were both towed from the scene.

Taylor and Smith were both cited for following too closely, according to the state patrol.
