PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Texas Rangers outfielders Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz are expected to be activated off the disabled list in time for Monday’s home game against the Chicago White Sox.

Rangers manager Ron Washington says the outfielders will be in the lineup Monday as long as there are no setbacks in the final game of their minor league rehab assignments.

Both are expected to play Sunday for Triple-A Round Rock.

Hamilton, last year’s American League MVP, is recovering from a broken bone in his upper right arm. Cruz is rehabbing a strained right quadriceps muscle.
