AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — Officers arrested a 16-year-old wanted in a fatal Auburn shooting when he showed up at his mother’s house in Kent disguised as a girl.
Auburn police Cmdr. Mike Hirman says James Anthony Mills had cut his dreadlocks and was wearing a wig, dress and high-heel shoes.
Officers booking him into King County Juvenile Detention Monday night for investigation of murder in Sunday’s shooting of 16-year-old Adrian Wilson.
The two teens reportedly had a dispute over a girl, and violence erupted when Mills arrived with friends at a Sunday barbecue-birthday party at an Auburn apartment complex.
