The Vancouver Parking Advisory Committee will host a public forum to gain input from residents as it re-evaluates the city’s parking program.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. June 14, in council chambers at City Hall, 210 E. 13th St.

The committee provides guidance on managing the six surface parking lots and five parking garages in downtown Vancouver, which feature 1,776 parking stalls and 1,546 parking meters, plus on-street parking and parking rates.

Some of the areas to explore will be the competing demands of customers, residents and employees; the cost of operating and maintaining off-street parking facilities; and how the program works now and how it should work.
