Clark County Fire District 3 is using its annual pancake breakfast to raise money for a financially stressed family with three children.

The open house and breakfast is scheduled at 7 a.m. June 4, preceding the Hockinson Fun Days parade. The event is being held at District 3’s main fire station, 17718 N.E. 159th St. in Hockinson.

For $15 for a family and $5 for an individual, breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs and ham.

After breakfast, firefighters will demonstrate rescue tools and techniques, and lead tours through the station. On display will be the training tower and various apparatus.

Advance tickets are available at the fire station.

Participants are encouraged to park at Hockinson High School and take a free shuttle to the day’s events.
