SEATTLE (AP) — The Justice Department is auctioning off the site of one of Seattle’s most notorious strip clubs, Rick’s on Lake City Way.

The club was seized as part of the racketeering prosecution of the late strip club boss Frank Colacurcio Sr.; his son, Frank Jr.; and their associates. Frank Jr. pleaded guilty last year and agreed to forfeit $1.3 million in cash plus his interest in four strip clubs and the group’s offices at Talents West, also on Lake City Way.

Both Rick’s and the Talents West building are being auctioned off on June 29. Interested bidders must pay cash and have deposit checks on file — $100,000 for Ricks and $50,000 for Talents West.

Proceeds will be used to benefit local police agencies that assisted in the investigation as well as for training for local, state and federal agents.
