USADA suspends Nguyen for doping violation

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The United States Anti-Doping Agency says Taekwondo athlete Jonathan Nguyen has accepted a six-month suspension for a doping violation.

The 25-year-old Nguyen of Chandler, Ariz., tested positive for a stimulant in a sample collected at the US Open International on February 20 in Austin, Texas. USADA says he accepted a provisional suspension on March 29.

USADA announced the suspension Friday.
