SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Washington State University may increase tuition 16 percent for in-state undergraduate students for the 2011-12 academic year.
The Board of Regents will be asked to approve that increase at a special meeting early next month. The tuition increase was the amount recommended by the Legislature in passing the state budget earlier this week.
It would raise the annual tuition paid by a typical in-state undergraduate student to $9,374 a year.
