ZURICH (AP) — FIFA says four executive committee members accused of World Cup bidding corruption have been cleared.

The former head of England’s 2018 bid told British lawmakers this month that Jack Warner, Nicolas Leoz, Ricardo Teixeira and Worawi Makudi engaged in “improper and unethical” conduct.

The English Football Association hasn’t released its findings, which were submitted to FIFA during the week. But after reading from the document at a news conference Sunday, FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke says the four members are “completely clean.”

Russia won the 2018 bid in December. England received only two votes.
