Ryehill Dreamer wins at Hollywood Park

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ryehill Dreamer edged Sidney’s Candy to take the $150,000 American Handicap at Hollywood Park on Saturday night.

Ridden by Joe Talamo, the 5-year-old Ryehill Dreamer ran the mile on turf in 1:33.55 and paid $19.60, $6.60 and $3.20.

Sidney’s Candy, the even-money favorite, returned $3.20 and $2.10. The Usual Q.T. paid $2.20 to show.

Owned by Marsha Naify, the victory was the fifth in 12 starts for Ryehill Dreamer, whose earnings increased to $296,807.
