Heritage — BlueWood Publishing Ltd. has signed two more of local author Dan Strawn’s stories. One is a re-release of his previously self-published book, “Lame Bird’s Legacy,” a novel about the 1877 Nez Perce War.

The second, “Breakfast at Blair’s,” is a modern-day story set in Eastern Oregon. Strawn is currently working another novel, “Return of the Black Wolf,” which features characters from his previous novels and deals with the Nez Perce homeland.
