PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Some Occupy Portland demonstrators admit that drug and alcohol use at Lownsdale and Chapman squares is becoming a problem.

Some told KATU (http://bit.ly/uqYPqO) they are concerned drug users are taking away from the political message. Others say it’s confined to a small area and that most demonstrators don’t use drugs or alcohol.

The anti-corporate demonstrators plan a rally at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Terry Schrunk Plaza followed by a downtown march.
