SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle City Council is considering city support for a museum in honor of martial arts film star Bruce Lee.

KING reports (http://bit.ly/s0LvOK) the council is waiting for a proposal from the Lee Family Foundation for the Bruce Lee Action Museum, which could be built in Seattle’s International District.

Lee grew up in Hong Kong, attended the University of Washington and taught martial arts in Seattle. He became famous for action films, including “Fists of Fury” and “Enter the Dragon.” He died in Hong Kong in 1973 at age 32 and is buried in Lake View Cemetery in Seattle next to his son, actor Brandon Lee.
