NEW YORK (AP) — Three minor league players have been suspended for violating baseball’s drug policy.

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Amilcar Arauz, St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Reginald Williams and free-agent pitcher Carlos Misell each received 50 game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs.

Arauz, on the roster of the Diamondbacks’ Dominican Summer League team, and Misell tested positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. Williams, who is with St. Louis’ Class-A Batavia Muckdogs, tested positive for Methylhexaneamine.

The penalties were announced Tuesday.
