A two-car crash resulted in minor injuries and blocked northbound lanes of Highway 99 in Hazel Dell for about an hour Thursday morning.

Firefighters with Clark County Fire District 6 were called to a crash at the intersection of Highway 99 and Northeast Parkview Drive around 8 a.m.

The crash occurred when a blue Honda Pilot attempting to make a left turn onto Parkview from Highway 99 collided with a red Dodge Neon that was traveling northbound, according to a Fire District 6 bulletin.

Air bags in both cars were deployed, said Sgt. Scott Schanaker, spokesman for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the Dodge had a minor injury to her left ankle and was transported by American Medical Response ambulance to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, said Dawn Johnson, spokeswoman for Fire District 6.

Names of the drivers were not released, and no citations were issued.
