North Garrison Heights — Pepa, the white pony, sported handprints of pink after a fundraiser to help find a cure for cancer. The event, called “Tough enough to paint your pony pink,” was hosted by the 40 Something Cowgirls Wrinkled Wranglers. On Oct. 22, outside the Vancouver Cancer Clinic, for every donation made, the donor got to put a pink handprint on Pepa. During the event, more than $700 was raised for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
