A 27-year-old Vancouver woman was injured in a Wednesday night crash on Interstate 205.

According to a Washington State Patrol bulletin, Beatriz A. Carrillo was merging onto the southbound lanes of the Glen Jackson Bridge from the state Highway 14 ramp around 8:15 p.m. She lost control of her Chevrolet Astro van, which hit a concrete barrier and overturned.

Carrillo was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with lacerations to her left arm and a head injury. She was listed in satisfactory condition on Thursday night, a nursing supervisor said.

The crash was caused by driving at a speed too fast for conditions, WSP said.
