KINGSTON, R.I. (AP) — Louis Feinstein kicked a 27-yard field goal with 1:39 left as Rhode Island came from behind to beat William & Mary 24-21 on Saturday.

The winning kick was set up by the Rams’ second blocked punt of the game, as Andrew Bose followed the example set by Dave Zocco.

Rhode Island (3-6, 2-4 Colonial Athletic Association) scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, starting with Chris Mancuso’s 2-yard run with 10:35 to play for a 14-13 lead.

After the Tribe (4-5, 2-4) pulled ahead on a 5-yard TD pass from Brent Caprio to Nolan Kearney with 7:45 left, Bob Bentsen threw his second scoring pass of the game, a 16-yarder to Ty Bynum to tie it with 5:26 to go.

William & Mary’s Jonathan Grimes had the third-best single-game performance in school history. He had 25 carries for a career–high 208 yards and touchdowns of 87 and 60 yards.
