EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — The Daily Herald of Everett reports (http://bit.ly/u1ug2R ) Boeing is investigating a landing gear problem on an All Nippon Airways 787 in Japan.

The Wall Street Journal reported pilots had to deploy the landing gear manually Sunday after a cockpit monitor indicated the gear was not fully down.

Boeing delivered the first 787 to ANA in September after a three-year delay at the widebody factory in Everett. ANA put it into regular commercial service just last week.
