TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — The Pierce County sheriff’s office says it appears a man in motorized wheelchair was responsible for the crash near Tacoma that killed him.
Spokesman Ed Troyer says the 40-year-old man pulled in front of a car Monday afternoon outside of a crossing. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
The 25-year-old driver of the car stopped and cooperated with deputies and was not cited.
