PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The oversize semi-truck and trailer carrying the B-1 bomber fuselage through Oregon is expected to arrive at a stop early Friday at Portland International Airport.

The decommissioned plane is being trucked in the overnight hours from Tucson to a Boeing plant at Renton, Wash.

The wings have been removed, and KGW reports (http://bit.ly/rYt4mn ) it’s still big: 135 feet long, 15 feet high and 29 feet wide, taking up two lanes.

The Oregon Department of Transportation says it’s one of the largest loads to be hauled through the state.
