SEATTLE (AP) — Forecasters say a strong cold front moving through the Northwest Friday will bring gusty wet weather and mountain snow to Washington.

Accumulations of 6-to-11 inches are expected by Friday night in the Olympics and Cascades, likely impacting travel across the mountain passes.

The National Weather Service says cool showery weather is likely to continue through the middle of next week across the state.
