MATTAWA, Wash. (AP) — Grant County sheriff’s deputies believe the same people are responsible for gang-related shotgun shootings that wounded two people Thursday night in Desert Aire and one man Saturday night near Beverly.

The Tri-City Herald reports (http://bit.ly/vsLiBS ) a 27-year-old Mattawa man with wounds to his head, back and legs was in a car deputies stopped Saturday night after people inside made threatening gestures. The man was treated at a Moses Lake hospital and released.

The suspected shooters were in a car stopped by police in Mattawa. Deputies say the occupants of the car ran away carrying guns. The same car is connected to the Thursday drive-by shooting in Desert Aire that left two people with minor injuries.
