Portland cops bust man at Amtrak station with 31 pounds of marijuana

On Tuesday November 9, 2011, investigators from the Portland Police Bureau’s Drugs and Vice Division (DVD) received a information that a man would be at the Amtrak station in Northwest Portland carrying narcotics. Investigators contacted the man and obtained consent to use a narcotics K-9 to check his bags. After the dog alerted that there was a presence of narcotics, investigators obtained consent to search the bags where they found thirty one (31) pounds of marijuana.

31-year-old Ryan David Mueller was arrested and charged with Possession and Distribution of Marijuana and booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
