MCCLEARY, Wash. (AP) — Searchers are looking in woods north of McCleary Tuesday and Wednesday in the Lindsey Baum case.

Steve Shumate with the Grays Harbor sheriff’s office tells KBKW the FBI and Washington State Patrol are assisting in the search of an area cleared by state prison work crews.

Shumate say investigators have no new leads in the case, they are merely taking advantage of the work crews to perform a more thorough search in the area.

Lindsey was 10 years old when she vanished June 26, 2009, while walking home from a friend’s house.
