SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Four players scored in double figures Friday night as Notre Dame stayed unbeaten with a 93-69 victory over Delaware State.

The Irish (4-0) were led by Scott Martin’s 23, while Jack Cooley recorded a double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds. Alex Dragicevich added 18 points and Jerian Grant 17.

Tahj Tate led the Hornets (1-2) with 29.

Notre Dame outrebounded Delaware State 46-24.

The Irish played without starting guards Eric Atkins and Joey Brooks, both of whom had flulike symptoms.

Tate, Delaware State’s leading scorer with an 18.5 average coming into the game, proved it was no fluke. He nailed his first three shots, two of them 3-pointers, and scored 13 of Delaware State’s first 15 points.

The Irish at one point trailed 15-11, but Scott Martin’s 3-pointer at the 13:42 mark began a 23-3 run that established a 33-18 edge. Notre Dame led at halftime 43-30.
