Bropleh leads Boise State to 103-61 triumph

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Thomas Bropleh scored 17 of his career-high 20 points in the first half to lead Boise State to a 103-61 rout of Cal State Northridge on Saturday.

Igor Hadziomerovic scored a career-best 18 points, Anthony Drmic added 14 and the Broncos (3-0) had a 49-20 rebounding edge while opening with three straight victories in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history.

Stephan Hicks scored a career-high 23 points for the Matadors (0-3), who committed 19 turnovers.

Hadziomerovic (five) and Bropleh (four) combined for nine of Boise State’s 13 3-point baskets. Bropleh scored 13 points during a 28-4 first-half surge that saw the Broncos take a 30-12 lead.

Boise State outrebounded Cal State Northridge 27-5 in the first half while taking a 48-24 lead. The Broncos had a 17-0 edge on the offensive boards over the first 20 minutes. Boise State finished with 24-6 advantage.
