BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — New tips led police to widen their search for a missing 2-year-old to a Kirkland park on Saturday.

Bellevue Police spokeswoman Carla Iafrate told KOMO-TV officers combed through a heavily wooded Kirkland park and other areas because of information gleaned from tips gathered since Friday afternoon. That’s when police shared new pictures of the boy and his mother, who says he disappeared two weeks ago in Bellevue.

There was no immediate word on whether the new searches had turned up any valuable evidence or information.
