1 man killed, 1 wounded in Lynden shooting

LYNDEN, Wash. (AP) — One man was killed and another wounded in the head in a shooting Tuesday night at a house in Lynden.

Police believe another person fired the shots and drove off, but no suspect or motive has been determined.

The dead man is identified as 22-year-old Jesse L. Winchester of Ferndale. The wounded man is a 40-year-old being treated at St. Joseph hospital.

Deputy Chief John Billester told The Bellingham Herald (http://bit.ly/vvYnyo ) the shooting was reported by someone who heard the shots.
