Open House Ministries will hold parenting classes geared toward parents involved in substance abuse.

The 11-week class meets from 3 to 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday beginning Nov. 29 at Open House Ministries, 900 W. 12th St. in Vancouver. The classes are approved for court-ordered parenting classes but are open to the general public, as well. The classes focus on topics including child guidance, the effects of addiction on child development and how a parent’s recovery can stabilize a family.

There is no cost and no pre-registration required to attend. For more information, call 360-281-2378 or 360-601-0874.
