Special Olympics team join in Veterans Day Parade

Hudson’s Bay — Rick Cook, combat veteran and Clark County Special Olympics Washington Sports Coordinator, led the Special Olympics athletes, unified partners, coaches and families in the Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 5.

The group was met with cheers from spectators. Special Olympics is a nonprofit that provides individuals with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to learn, train and compete in a variety of sports year-round.
