AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — One person was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident early Friday on Highway 167 at Auburn.

The Washington State Patrol told KIRO-TV the person was pushing a disabled car on the highway when it was struck from behind by a vehicle that left the scene.

The injured person was taken to a hospital in serious condition. The driver of the disabled car talked to troopers, but another passenger in the car ran off.
